Remember if you want anything from the master you need to get up wash your face have your prayer petition before you, when you are beginning to come into His present thank Him for His goodness, love, keeping power, peace and go on and on. Clap your hands wave your arm as you feel his present. Don't ask anything yet, this is His time now. Hannah Love the Lord, she had wanted a son so many years, sometimes it might take a long time to get your needs met if you do not know how to pray. Or the steps,

1 Samuel 1:19 ¶ And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her.

  20     Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD.

 The Keys of prayer,  April being the fourth month of the year, this is the month of direction. Some of us are in need of God speaking to us. Prayer is the key to the mystery of the word of God.

  Colossians 4: 2     ¶ Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

3     Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4     That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5     ¶ Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6     Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

No prayer, no power, little prayer, little power. If you are going to have a ministry in the church, on the road as a evangelist, you will need to have a prayer life. Even in the church, you need to be praying often for your pastor, and all the leaders and members in all churches, pray for our world and world leaders that God's will, will have his way. Your own home you need to be a prayer warrior. Pray as well as watch let your words be season with salt, sweet, loving and kind.

1 Samuel 1: 27     For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him:

Samuel was a worshipper and ministered before he knew God. 

: 18     But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.
19     Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice.
20     And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home.
21     And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

1 Samuel 3: 3,     And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the LORD, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep;
4     That the LORD called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
5     And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down.
6     And the LORD called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again.
7     Now Samuel did not yet know the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
8     And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the LORD had called the child.
9     Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, LORD; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
10     And the LORD came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
11     ¶ And the LORD said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
12     In that day I will perform against Eli all things which I have spoken concerning his house: when I begin, I will also make an end.
13     For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

After you minister to the Lord and give him your heart, lifting  up your hands, opening up your mouth to praise Him moving forward and studying your bible a good study bible, one easy to understand. Understand that the Lord loves you, even before you even had a desire to pray. He has called you in so way to come near to him. There are many kinds of prayers to pray unto the Lord Jesus Christ.  Get beyond just going to God only when you need some thing. Learn to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord a Saviour Jesus Christ. Remember little prayer little power. Prayer and faith moves mountains.   

As you have read, God called Samuel from his mother womb, he did not understand the office he was being call to he was doing what his mother was and doing before the Lord. Her prayer were answered.  She lent her son unto the Lord. God used Samuel and let none of his words fall to the ground. Because he was a true Prophet.1 Samuel 3:19-20.

There's all kinds of prayers that you can pray. As you grow, you will learn how to have a prayer life, being faithful getting in to a system. Don't quit if you miss a day from time to time just stay in the press for the prize. God called Samuel and Samuel answered. Prayer will help you answer your call. Try to learn what God has for you as a ministry it just might be a prayer warrior at church. 

18     Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
19     ¶ And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
20     For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Stay in worship, after you minister to the Lord, ask what you want according to his will for you. Samuel new why he was there he was to become Eli replacement. He say nice caring for the things of God. Learn your job in the church. It might take many years before you walk in your office. Whatever you are call to do. Do it well, God is the one who will take you higher. God has your back, learn to trust him. Stay faithful and work out your salvation in a bible believing church.
